Pitched roof mounts are the most common mount used for residential applications. An aluminum rack is constructed on the roof and the panels bolt to the aluminum rack. Optimum solar production is achieved on south facing roofs with a slope of 30-45 degrees. In the winter pitched roof mounted systems can collect snow over night; the snow usually melts off throughout the day but panels usually won’t produce significant power until it is free of snow. Our pitched roof mount systems are made by Sentinel Power Systems and are designed specifically for our solar panels. This makes for an easier and less costly installation. The mount is made out of aluminum and is secured with stainless steel hardware and carries a 10 year warranty.
